Un-justified

The United States dropping of the atomic bomb is not justified because they did not take into account the long term effects on the Japanese cities, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This act of engaging in atomic diplomacy on the Japanese was little thought through as to what affects it would cause the people and land from that point on.
The dropping of the atomic bombs was unjustified because of the severe impact it had on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the innocent civilians living throughout the cities. America staged use of multiple fire-bombings on 67 Japanese cities before the dropping of the atomic bombs, all of the bombs had radiation effects on the people and land. Still to this day the land where the atomic bombs was dropped have severe radiation and are unsafe for people to live on. The acute effects of the bomb killed an estimated 166,000 people in Hiroshima and estimated 80,000 in Nagasaki. Majority of the deaths happened on the first day of the bombing, but during the next few months after the dropping of the bomb, large numbers died from the burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries.
